Minneapolis, MN—July 12, 2007—Banner Engineering Corp. introduces PresencePLUS® Pro—PROII,with an expanded toolset for advanced operations using Banner’srobust PresencePLUS Pro vision cameras. All PROII controllersinclude the powerful suite of gray scale tools—including Locate, Pattern Findand Count, Geometric Find and Count, Edge, Object, Blob, Average Gray Scale andoptional Bar Code Reader—for the most demanding inspections. Color models includethe Color Match tool for detecting an infinite number of color variations accurately.

The Pro features a DIN-mountable controller with a compact camera. Standard gray scale cameras are available for accurate analysis at high speedsand the high resolution 1.3 megapixel models feature 1280 x 1024 resolution forextra detail or extended sensing field of view. Color cameras offer a 752 x 480resolution for detecting a specific color and unlimited color variations in thecameras field of view. In addition, sealed IP68-rated cameras are available forchallenging industrial and washdown environments.
